Chinese Medical Navigator

How Our Medical Navigation Service Works

A clear step-by-step guide for international patients, overseas Chinese families, and patients who need assistance when seeking medical care in Beijing.

Important Notice: We do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment decisions, prescription advice, medical opinions, or emergency medical services.

Our service focuses on hospital selection guidance, appointment coordination, medical translation, patient escort, hospital navigation, document organization, report collection support and basic travel coordination.

Our Step-by-Step Process

We help patients understand what needs to happen before, during and after a hospital visit in Beijing.

Step 1

Initial Contact

Patients or family members contact us by website, email or WhatsApp. At this stage, we collect only basic information to understand what kind of assistance may be needed.

Step 2

Basic Information Collection

Before arranging any service, we may ask for basic information such as:

  • Patient’s age, nationality and current location
  • Main medical concern or reason for seeking care
  • Existing diagnosis, test reports or medication list if available
  • Preferred language for communication
  • Estimated arrival date and length of stay in Beijing
  • Whether MRI, CT, blood tests or specialist consultation may be needed
  • Whether airport pickup, hotel or local transportation support is needed
Step 3

Hospital and Department Direction

We help clarify which hospital direction and department may be more suitable for the patient’s stated concern. This is especially important in Beijing, where major hospitals have many departments, many buildings and different appointment routes.

Step 4

Service Assessment

Based on the information provided, we assess what type of support may be useful. This may include hospital navigation, appointment coordination, medical translation, patient escort, document organization, MRI or CT coordination, or basic travel support.

Step 5

Service Plan and Quotation

We provide a clear service plan and reference quote before any paid arrangement starts. Pricing depends on service type, hospital location, expected duration, language needs, travel support requirements and case complexity.

Step 6

Appointment and Preparation

Once the service is confirmed, we assist with appointment coordination where possible. We also help prepare necessary documents, explain hospital steps, and confirm what the patient should bring.

Step 7

Hospital Visit Support

During the hospital visit, our assistant or interpreter may help the patient with registration, check-in, department navigation, payment guidance, examination routes, communication with staff, and follow-up instructions.

Step 8

Tests, Reports and Follow-Up

If the doctor orders blood tests, MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound or other examinations, we help the patient understand where to go, how to pay, when to wait, where to collect reports, and whether a follow-up consultation is needed.

Step 9

Travel and Waiting-Time Support

If the patient is waiting for test reports and the medical schedule allows, we may help coordinate light Beijing-area arrangements, hotel-to-hospital transport, airport pickup, short city visits or flexible one-day/two-day nearby plans. Medical appointments always come first.

Why Medical Navigation Can Save Time

A hospital visit in Beijing can be efficient, but it is rarely simple for a first-time visitor. Large hospitals may have many buildings, many floors, different payment windows, blood test areas, imaging centers, report collection points and follow-up routes.

Without local support, patients may waste time walking between buildings, waiting in the wrong place, misunderstanding instructions or returning to the wrong department.

Our value is not only helping patients get an appointment. Our value is helping patients understand what to do next, where to go next, and how to complete the hospital process with less stress.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to help international patients, overseas Chinese families and patients who need assistance understand the hospital process in Beijing more clearly and move through it with less stress.
